Challenger 2013 Obudu Mountain was a monumental success! 

From the journey that started 5am in Lagos and ended up taking 23 hours on the road, to arrive 3:45am at the gate of the Obudu Ranch, every step of the journey was an awesome experience.

An exhibition and exposure of the new Challenger participants by the veteran of 3 previous challenger programs, to the spirit of adventure and the attitude and mindset that drove great explorers to tread uncharted territories, brave strange lands, ford raging rives, hard tough terrains and weather conditions without tearing each other apart, losing their sense of humor, awe of the beauty of the natural environments they were passing through and above all that saw them surmount incredible obstacles and against all odds make a mark in the history of man on this planet! 

The highest temperature was 10 degrees celcius and the highest point of our activities was 5,500ft above sea level. Read other posts and see pictures of the awesome Challenger 2013.  

Challenger 2013 coming up! Dec 22nd to 31st.

Last year (2012) we planned to visit the Mountainous ranges around Obudu, in Calabar, Cross River, south south part of Nigeria. Circumstances and logistics did not allow us do that. This year we would by God's grace have a challenging, fun and exciting experience in Challenger 2013 Obudu Mountain Ranges! 15 of those applying were accepted for this expedition and all participants this time are from Nigeria, and come from different walks of life and profession, but all have a common lust for adventure and facing challenges that will tax the limits of their endurance.  Only the chicken and faint hearted need be afraid, and we dont take them anyway as we give fair warning, Challenger is NOT for the weak in spirit!
